Hyatt House slated for 2018 opening

Malaysia’s first Hyatt House hotel, a brand of Hyatt Hotels Corporation located in Mont’Kiara, will open its doors on April 1 next year, here.
The four-star upscale residentially-inspired Hyatt House — which is part of Arcoris Mont’Kiara, a development by UEM Sunrise Bhd — will feature 298 guestrooms, restaurants, 3,100 sq ft of meeting space, a fitness centre and a sky pool.
The hotel, which has a gross floor area of 267,776.66 sq ft and net lettable area of 198,241.8 sq ft, will be targeting both business and leisure travellers.

UEM Sunrise’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Arcoris Sdn Bhd, inked the management agreement with an affiliate of Hyatt Hotels & Resorts for Hyatt House in July 2015.
Hyatt House is one of five components of Arcoris Mont’Kiara, which has a total gross development value of RM1.2 billion. The other four components are Arcoris Suites, Arcoris Soho, Arcoris Residences and Arcoris Plaza.
The development is fully sold where Arcoris Suites, Arcoris Soho and Arcoris Residences is concerned.

Arcoris Suites is a commercial setup with a total of 262 office spaces ranging from 700 sq ft to 850 sq ft each. Launched in October 2011, all units were sold out within two weeks.
Arcoris Soho is made up of 366 residential units with sizes from 500 sq ft to 1,000 sq ft, while Arcoris Residences features 331 residential units from 850 sq ft to 2,000 sq ft.
Besides Hyatt House being the new neighbour in Arcoris Mont’Kiara, the retail component Arcoris Plaza will welcome anchor retailers.
UEM Sunrise revealed the anchor retailers last week which include The Majapahit, Kumar, Japan Grocer, Children Discovery House and Tribe.
Arcoris Plaza features four cascading floor levels that occupy net lettable area 53,245 sq ft of retail space and housing 38 retail units.
UEM Sunrise chief operating officer (commercial) Raymond Cheah said that 14 retail units were expected to be leased out by month-end.
“While we develop products that stand out in the market, we are constantly listening to consumers, and studying market demands and trends to provide the best products and services.
“Being the creator of Publika, our first retail concept by UEM Sunrise in Mont’Kiara, Arcoris Plaza is next in line to boast its unique aesthetics designs as well as its wide array of offerings,” he said.
Cheah said Arcoris Plaza retailers were poised to enjoy heavy footfalls from the working office crowd in the vicinity, including Solaris Dutamas, Plaza Damas, Desa Sri Hartamas, Solaris Mont’Kiara, One Mont’Kiara, Plaza Mont’Kiara, many residences in and around Mont’Kiara as well as the surrounding areas.
