From games to building your own place or house, the virtual environment is getting increasingly diverse.

More and more businesses are developing platforms that make it simple for anyone to construct and customise their own virtual environment utilising 3D technology. These 3D virtual effects are immersive and provide the impression of being present.

Samsung Electronics has launched the Galaxy S22 Treasure Hunt Campaign, which seeks to provide Galaxy fans with a unique metaverse experience, following the recent unveiling of the flagship S22 devices.

The campaign (which runs until April 24) is hosted on My House, powered by Naver's Zepeto platform.

My House allows users to create a virtual room in which they can furnish products from Samsung Electronics.

It was developed by Samsung Electronics in partnership with Zepeto, a Naver Z subsidiary's metaverse platform. With over 300 million global subscribers, Zepeto is Asia's largest metaverse platform.

My House, according to Olivier Bockenmeyer, Samsung Electronics' regional corporate marketing leader for Southeast Asia and Oceania, allows customers new ways to build their dream homes and experience the Galaxy S22 series and other Samsung devices in a virtual environment.

"At Samsung, we aim to create innovations that can be customised to suit a wide range of tastes. With the campaign, we want to engage the large community of Gen Z and millennial users in our region, who are exploring personalised experiences in the metaverse," he said in a statement.

Users can decorate their own homes in the metaverse with over 18 Samsung products using the My House global map.

"Through the Galaxy S22 Treasure Hunt and user-generated content events, we want to engage more Gen Z and millennial users to spark their imagination and creativity. We hope to be an important part of their ongoing journey in exploring their individuality, and in developing their lifestyle preferences," added Bockenmeyer.

The My House experience will be available at select Samsung Experience Stores in Malaysia.

Visitors can virtually explore the vast selection of Samsung products and appliances accessible via in-store Galaxy S22 Ultra units pre-installed with Zepeto and design their dream houses.
