Baotou is an important industrial and manufacturing base in China as well as a hub and logistics business center for Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. With abundant resources, distinctive cultural relics, science and technological development, it has been showing steady progress with a reputation as China’s steel capital on grassland.

Pullman Baotou is situated within a mixed use complex that includes a shopping mall and commercial tower in the city’s new central business district. It is adjacent to Baotou Municipal Government, International Convention and Exhibition Center, and Olympic Sports Centre Stadium. The hotel’s superb geographical location features a bird’s eye view of Saihantala Ecological Park, Asia’s largest urban wetland grassland. It is a 20 minute drive to the airport and the city’s train station, as well as Baotou’s historic downtown.

Gary Rosen, Chairman and Chief Operating Officer, Accor Greater China, says: “We are delighted to open our 35th Pullman property. Pullman Baotou is the latest in the fast growing brand’s network within Greater China, and weaves the brand’s strengths with the historic city’s characteristics. Pullman hotels are inspiring – they are places where business meets pleasure – and augment how Baotou is developing today. The introduction of Pullman to Baotou, as the city’s latest international branded hotel to launch in Baotou in more than a decade, sets a new benchmark for premium hotel experiences in the city and further enhances the development of Baotou’s new CBD.”

Pullman Baotou features interior design by award winning firm HBA (Hirsch Bedner Associates). Each of its 263 guestrooms and suites enjoy either stunning grassland or garden views. Designed to be uplifting, stimulating and comfortable, guestrooms allow travelers to easily connect with and be their personal best, regardless of whether they are in town for business or leisure. A neutral background is accented by unexpected color pops of chartreuse and cabernet in textiles. Inner Mongolian pottery is reiterated through bedside sconces, while traditional patterns form the inspiration for bathroom wall tiles and guestroom carpets.

Pullman Baotou’s culinary offerings introduce new standards to the city. In the lobby, the signature Junction at Pullman opens the floor into a living room to welcome friends, colleagues and travelers while acting as an informal business meeting space. Les Champs-Elysées Lobby Bar’s cosmopolitan styling and welcoming vibe are ideal for meetings, catch ups and chill out experiences. Its light meal bar menu complements a delicious assortment of pastries and take away choices.

Bordeaux House restaurant is a fashionable establishment with the concept of sharing dishes. Featuring authentic ingredients from local markets and from internationally selected produce, with a fusion of skillful American cooking finesse. Bordeaux House’s imported wine pairs expertly with its signature steak. Silk Pavilion restaurant boasts Huaiyang and fusion cuisine, interpreting Inner Mongolian dishes for contemporary palettes. Its 10 private rooms are perfect for family dinners, celebrations or business luncheons. Le Fontainebleau restaurant is where guests can indulge in signature Pullman Active Breakfast with its healthy and balanced menu based on the four key fundamentals of age defense, energy boost, balance, and detox. Le Fontainebleau also offers an a la carte menu and international dinner buffet.

Pullman Baotou features the brand’s new meeting concept Meet/Play tailored events that combine work and play in an energized atmosphere imbued with cultural elements for fun interaction. Engaging breaks, ice breakers and team activities are designed to boost performance and enhance well-being, above and beyond typical hotel meeting offerings. Meanwhile, Pullman Baotou’s grand ballroom contains 2,000 sqm function space with state of the art equipment for a combined capacity of 1,200 attendees, making it ideal for business events, banquets, weddings or milestone parties. Adjacent to the grand ballroom is an outdoor terrace perfect for al fresco weddings, evening cocktails, or pre and post function mingles. Pullman Baotou’s leisure facilities include Fit Lounge, an indoor swimming pool and spa lounge.
